Kirch Developmental Services Center
Primary Care Provider Phone Consultation Line
In an effort to support primary care providers in our community who care for pediatric patients with developmental disabilities, the Kirch Center now offers a way for providers to enhance their skills and expertise in caring for these children. Primary care physicians can access developmental pediatricians and nurse practitioners easily and directly for consultation. This is not a system of direct advice about the management of specific patients, but a service that provides primary care providers with information and resources that will arm them with the knowledge to make appropriate decisions.
Types of information that may be provided:
- Strategies for screening and evaluating development
- Strategies for management of challenging behaviors
