Ongoing, TNT Bracelet Sales. Deb Moyer-Milgate and Jen Brush are teaming up with a unique fundraising idea, encouraging kids to help other kids. They are selling $5 bracelets to groups. Groups can keep half the funds raised and the other half is divided between five non-profit organizations, including Golisano Children's Hospital. Feb. 10, National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) Variety Show, May Room, Wilson Commons, University of Rochester. The University of Rochester's NSCS chapter will host a variety show to benefit Golisano Children's Hospital at 8 p.m. Tickets are $6 for strudents and $8 for the general public. Feb. 18, Battle of the Beaks, St. John Fisher College. Men’s and women’s basketball teams will square off in a huge Empire 8 rivalry matchup. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m. with the men tipping off at 8 p.m. Every penny from admissions, commemorative t-shirt sales and prize raffles will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital at URMC. Feb. 25, Ugly Disco, Riverside Convention Center. Don’t miss out on this 9th annual event, with live music from Atlas Band, the Skycoasters, Fever – the Wrath of Polyester and a live DJ spinning hits from the late 1970s. This year’s party, which begins at 8 p.m., will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital. VIP tickets are $125 and general admission is $35. Feb. 28, National IHOP Pancake Day, 556 Jefferson Road in Henrietta and 2190 North Goodman St. in Irondequoit. Local IHOP customers can enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., when they make a donation to Golisano Children’s Hospital. Click here for more information.

March 16, Awesome 80s Prom, Risen Christ Church, 1000 Moseley Road, Fairport. Flash back to the 80s for a night of big hair and big fun. Dress in your totally awesome 80s prom wear and rock out to favorite 80s hits during this fundraiser, set to run from 7 to 10 p.m. On-site babysitting will be provided to those who pre-register for this event, which benefits Golisano Children's Hospital, Relay for Life and Risen Christ Church. March 31, Monte Carlo Night, Eagle Vale Country Club. 2009 Miracle Makers Tops Friendly Markets will host its 6th annual Monte Carlo Night from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $80 per couple or $45 per person and tend to sell out quickly. March 31, 10th and final Taylor Brush Memorial Dinner Dance, River’s Edge Party House, 31 Paul Road. Celebrate the last of these fantastic annual events, which have raised more than $140,000 for the Pediatric Social Work and Neonatology Divisions.
