Annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Golf Classic
The annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Golf Classic is thought to be the largest golf tournament in Monroe County, drawing hundreds of players to several golf courses to play for kids.
Every year, the tournament begins with lunch and registration at 11 a.m., a shotgun start at 12:15 p.m., and dinner at Monroe Golf Club following the day of golf.
The 2011 event will take place Monday, Aug. 29, Monroe Country Club, the Country Club of Rochester and Oak Hill Country Club on the West Course. Sponsorships are available. For more information, call (585) 273-5948.
