Stages of Ewing's Tumor
Currently, there is no formal staging system for the Ewing’s family of tumors. Progression is described in the following terms:
Localized
Cancer has not spread beyond the bone in which the cancer began, or it is found only in the bone and nearby tissues.
Metastatic
Cancer has spread from the bone in which it began to other parts of the body.
Recurrent
Cancer has returned following treatment. It may come back in the original location or in another part of the body.
