Ask your doctor, nurse or Child Life Specialist if you are eligible for tutoring services. He or she will be able to work with you and your school in coordinating this. If you are coming in for surgery and know that you will be out of school for an extended length of time, let your health care team know that you will need tutoring services set up for you. We will: Start the process by getting a note from your doctor Help you if you are having surgery and need plans set up to complete school work from home Provide space for you to complete your school work. If you can be up and about, we have a school room available. We are able to accommodate for testing such as NYS Regents with a proctor, no matter the length of your stay. If you still have questions or concerns about this, contact your Child Life Specialist who will be able to help you find answers to your questions.
