Educational Programs

The University of Rochester Department of Community and Preventive Medicine educational programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, which is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs offered in settings other than schools of public health. 

Five degree programs are offered by the Department:

• Master in Public Health (MPH)
• Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MS-CLI)
• Master of Science in Clinical Translational Research (MS-CTR)
• Ph.D. in Health Services Research and Policy
• Ph.D. in Epidemiology

We also have a Preventive Medicine Residency Program and postdoctoral programs in Preventive Cardiology as well as Health Services Research and Policy.
