There are a lot of awesome local eateries with some pretty big names, including Dinosaur's BBQ and Wegmans! And, of course, spending time with my fiance, Kayleigh, and our adorable at Buttons.

Favorite Thing About My Residency Program: The people! The match does a truly impressive job of putting a group of people together who can go from acquaintances to familiy in a matter of hours. I can count on any of my fellow interns or seniors at a moment's notice for anything! And it doesn't stop there--the pediatric residency staff is second to none, and we could not have a better group of people we work with at both Strong and Rochester General Hospitals!

Favorite Thing To Do in Rochester: Spending time with my husband and baby girl Amelia. You can find us on the lake enjoying our boat, walking our two dogs, and exploring the countless festivals.

Favorite Thing About My Residency Program: Everyone works in a callborative way and has fun doing it. And the food! There is always an excuse for food, especially on Night Float or on clinic days.

Special Projects I Am Working On: I am working on a project in the NICU regarding high frequency ventilators.

Danielle Renodin-Mead, D.O.

Hobbies/Other Training: Rock climbing, hiking, camping, painting.

Favorite Thing To Do in Rochester: Activites on the Finger Lakes (ie. wine-tasting, boating, fishing, hiking, etc.), canoeing at Bay Creek, mountain biking at Dryer Park, hiking and trail running at Mendon Ponds, rock climbing at the Niagara Glen, camping in the Adirondacks or New Paltz. Enjoying nights with friends for dinner, favorite places include: Goodluck, Lucca's, Chocolate and Vines, and anywhere on Park Ave.

Favorite Thing About My Residency Program: My co-residents are great to work with. I have formed really close bonds with the residents in my class and they are always supportive.

One Word To Describe Me: Passionate. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I love life both inside and outside the hospital.
