Special Projects I Am Working On: Two projects: One is a clinical trial in the NICU looking at the effect of glycerin suppositories on length of phottherapy in premature infants with hypervilirubinemia. The other is completing the data analysis and manuscript for a project that studied the clinical indications for discontinuing phototherapy in premature infants with hyperbilirubinemia.

Special Projects I Am Working On: Pediatic Syncope. Initial study is a retrospective analysis of pediatric referral population for syncope, comparing those caused by a cardiac etiology to those caused by non-cardiac etiologies. The second study will be validating a screening algorithm for deciding who should be referred to cardiology for syncope.
