University of Arizonia

Research Assistant Professor
Division of Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology

Research Overview

Dr. Kobie's research interests include studying CD4 T cells and their contribution to the generation of effective anti-tumor immune responses and their translational applications for the development of cancer vaccines. He is also examining the effect of pregnancy and pregnancy-related factors on the differentiation of CD4 T cells. In collaboration with Dr. Inaki Sanz, he is studying the development of B cells that give rise to HIV specific antibodies capable of neutralizing a broad range of HIV isolates to elucidate strategies to generate effective HIV vaccines.
