Live Harp Music

Live harp music of your choosing can be provided in the hospital at the patient’s bedside to create a healing and calming environment. As part of the URMC Palliative Care Program, our harpist is in direct communication with your physician and other health care providers.

Benefits of Harp Music

Patients can simply listen to the live harp music without feeling the need to talk or interact with the harpist. Harp music offers opportunities to experience:

Our harpist, Sandy Gianniny, is a Certified Music Practitioner. She is a student at the Eastman Community Music School and a graduate of the Music for Healing and Transition Program.
