Pulmonary Biology
The Department of Pediatrics contingent of the Lung Biology Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center includes investigators interested in infectious diseases (see “Infection in the immunocompromised host” and “Pediatric respiratory viral disease”), oxygen toxicity to the developing lung, and long-term sequelae of lung injury and disease in infancy. Both training and independent investigator awards from the NIH fund this program.
