Who We Are
Faculty and Staff
- Andy Aligne, M.D., M.P.H. is the Director of the CARE (Child Advocacy Resident Education) Track and Co-Director of the PLC Program at the University of Rochester. He is also a member of SHAC: the Smoking and Health Action Coalition of Monroe County.
- Jeff Kaczorowski, M.D. is a Co-Director of the PLC Program. Dr. Kaczorowski is also an Associate Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. Dr. Kaczorowski is the National Director of the American Academy of Pediatrics Community Pediatrics Training Initiative.
- Danielle Thomas-Taylor, M.D., M.P.H. is the PLC Intern Training Director, Pediatric Attending at Rochester General Hospital, Senior Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics and Medical Provider at the REACH program.
- Caren Gellin, M.D. is the CARE Track Assistant Director and is also the Coordinator and Specialist in Pediatric Simulation at the Golisano Children's Hospital.
- Marc Lavender, M.D. is the Legislative Advocacy Trainer for the PLC Program, and Primary Care Physician at East Ridge Family Medicine.
- Theodore Brown, Ph.D. is PLC Faculty of the CARE Track and is also a History Professor at the University of Rochester.
- Senior Chief Resident Assistants: Drs. Craig C. Benson, Elizabeth Diekroger, Tracey Henderson, Abigail Kroening and Lee Williams.
- Santina Tu is the PLC Program Manager.
- Venus Lawson is the PLC Program Secretary.
