Our Fellows Recent Graduate Dana Fuhrman, D.O. email@example.com Dana is from Erie, Pennsylvania, and received her D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. She then completed a traditional rotating internship at Christiana Care in Wilmington, DE. She completed her Pediatric Residency at URMC including a year as Chief Resident. In 2008, she received a grant from the National Kidney Foundation for her research on “Assessment of Renal Reserve by Iohexol Plasma Disappearance.” In the course of her fellowship training, Dana received a T32 “Bench to Bedside to Curbside” grant award as well as the Department of Pediatrics Bradford Award. In June 2011, Dana received an Outstanding Fellow Teaching Award for her work with our residents and medical students. Dana's professional interests include acute care nephrology as well as biomarkers of kidney injury and the progression of renal disease. She is currently pursuing subspecialty training in pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Combined with her training in pediatric nephrology, she will be well-equipped as an acute care nephrologist. Alumni Julie A.
