Patient Care Bio
Dr. Voloshin is an expert in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee joints, as well as reconstruction and replacement surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He is a team physician for the Rochester Knighthawks and Rochester Rattlers lacrosse teams and Head Physician for RIT.
Dr. Voloshin earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his orthopaedics residency at URMC Orthopaedics. He received his fellowship training in shoulder and elbow reconstruction and sports medicine at Columbia University, and additional training in elbow surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Voloshin has authored numerous medical journal articles on the topics of shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Voloshin is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Director of URMC Shoulder and Elbow Division. He is also a member of University Sports Medicine.
