Bringing help to you, when you need it most
If you or anyone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call us. We are a psychiatric emergency team serving anyone in Monroe County. Any place you feel safe, we’ll come to you.
The team believes that mental health crisis services are best provided quickly and in a familiar place. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals will visit you or your family in your home, place of employment, school or any other location in Monroe County. Our services are designed to help divert individuals from the county’s psychiatric emergency departments and prevent unnecessary emergency room visits, when possible.
How we support you:
- Crisis intervention and stabilization
- Comprehensive mental health assessments
- Connecting you to mental health and chemical dependency treatment providers
- Linking to community-based and in-home support systems
- Medication consultations and services
- Referrals to non-mental health services
- Interpreter services for diverse language needs
- Follow-up visits, if necessary
- Peer and Family Advocate support
For immediate safety concerns, such as life-threatening situations and/or medical emergencies, please call 911.
Who is eligible?
Anyone—children through older adults—who is experiencing emotional problems that could lead to a mental health crisis can receive services.
For youth, parents or legal guardians must give permission for care. But in an emergency, care will be provided to keep the child safe until the family can be notified.
Insurance information
Mobile Crisis Team visits are covered by most insurances. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Financial counselors are available.
