If you can’t be seen at your clinician’s office, Virtual Mental Health Urgent Care offers fast, convenient support from anywhere. This service is not for emergencies or immediate safety concerns. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Fill out your information and symptoms from a phone, tablet or computer and one of our providers will join the call, discuss your symptoms and concerns, and explore possible interventions and solutions.

To get started, click the link above and enter your information and symptoms into our Virtual Urgent Care platform. You can do this using a mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

Once you’ve filled out your information, you’ll enter a waiting room while we identify the best UR Medicine Mental Health Clinician available. The Clinician will join the video visit, discuss your symptoms with you and provide intervention.

Adult Virtual Mental Health Urgent Care (18+) is available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
Pediatric Virtual Mental Health Urgent Care (Ages 5-18) is available Monday–Friday, 12–7 p.m. 

Visits are unavailable outside these hours or if wait times are greater than two hours.

Anyone over the age of 5 living in New York State can use Virtual Mental Health Urgent Care.

Please Note: If you are seeking care for your Worker’s Compensation, Motor Vehicle, or Veteran’s Association concerns, please contact your Primary Care Provider’s office.

Virtual Urgent care will be billed through your insurance, and, if applicable, maybe be subject to a co-payment or deductible.
