Meliora Weekend and SMD Reunion

35th Reunion Dinner

The School of Medicine and Dentistry's Alumni Weekend and Reunion are now celebrated during the University of Rochester's Meliora Weekend! Established in 2001, Meliora Weekend celebrates reunions, family weekend, and homecoming activities. It is designed for alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the University of Rochester.  SMD Reunion events include a range of medically-themed programs, including alumni speakers, seminars, tours, and much more.  Please visit the Meliora Weekend Website for more information.

Berk, '81M (MD), '81M (PhD), is Senior Vice President for health sciences at the University of Rochester and CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).

2012 Distinguished Alumnus Lecture

View Dr. Dorothy Bainton's lecture "50 Years of Women in Medicine." Dr. Bainton '60M (Res) reviews the dramatic changes that have occurred for women in medicine and women in general, over the last fifty years. She was selected as the 2012 School of Medicine and Dentistry Distinguished Alumnus by the Medical Alumni Council.

Robert M. Sutherland, Ph.D. Lecture

View Dr. Sutherland's lecture "Academic and Business Careers in Biomedical Research." Dr. Sutherland '66M (PhD) is the Senior Investment Office at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research in Toronto, Canada."
