WelcomeThe Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, with its 12 specialty divisions, gives small classes of elite residents a comprehensive clinical and didactic experience in musculoskeletal disorders. There's volume and variety in the clinical experience, which centers on Strong Memorial Hospital and its affiliates. Residents acquire diagnostic, judgmental and manual skills in a wide range of situations. Included are adult orthopaedics, pediatric orthopaedics, fractures and dislocations, polytrauma, surgery of the spine (including disc surgery), hand and foot surgery, athletic injuries, musculoskeletal oncology, rehabilitation, and related basic sciences. |
