At the Department of Pediatrics and Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, we believe that preparing tomorrow's health care leaders is one of our fundamental responsibilities.
We pride ourselves on:
- Earning an A+ Rating for Graduate Medical Education. We are the first institution in the nation to be awarded full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education six years in a row.
- Faculty who are local, state, and national leaders in community pediatrics, advocacy, health care delivery, health sciences research, and bench research.
- Maintaining a strong partnership with the community, which allows residents to participate in unique opportunities such as: Child Advocacy Resident Education, Residency Research, and Pediatrics Links to the Community (PLC).
