Neuroscience Internship Program at the University of Rochester
Since 2021 NEURO-RocHS — a Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience Diversity Commission program — provides Rochester City School District (RCSD) high school students with first-hand neuroscience research experience in University of Rochester neuroscience research labs. During the six-week program, selected students will work with a mentor in a research lab and learn how to navigate the education and training necessary to pursue a research career. They also receive a stipend for their involvement.
The program, formerly known as NEUROEAST, started in 2021 and is funded by the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.
