Conditions We Treat

We treat all illnesses of newborn infants. Some of the more common conditions we treat are listed here.

• Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD)
• Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR)
• Intraventricular Hemorrhage (IVH)
• Jaundice/Hyperbilirubinemia
• Meconium Aspiration Syndrome
• Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC)
• Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)
• Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn
• Retinopathy of Prematurity
• Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)
• Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN)

Some babies who are born prematurely, are small for their gestational ages or who experience difficult NICU stays may be at risk for developmental of neurological delays later on in childhood. We follow and care for those children through our NICU Continuing Care Program.
