myHub is thrilled to announce that all SMD trainees and alumni now have exclusive access to the myHub Career Exploration Modules via the Archer Career platform. These self-paced modules are designed to help trainees develop their career goals, gain an understanding of career interests, and prepare them for more advanced career exploration opportunities, including job shadowing and internship opportunities.
University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (URSMD) graduate students and postdocs will gain knowledge and experience with:

Trainees can complete these modules online 24/7 at their convenience and refer back to the information throughout their career journey.
myHub Career Exploration Funding
Trainees who complete the modules are eligible to apply for myHub career exploration grant/internship funding. The myHub Career Exploration Modules provide trainees with resources, tips on developing budgets, and ideas on how to expand your career exploration experiences beyond job shadowing and internships.

It depends. You can skip between modules based on your needs if you’re just interested in learning about different topics. However, if you would like to be eligible for myHub career exploration grant or internship funding, you will need to complete all modules.

Yes!!! Meeting with Eric 1-on-1 is highly encouraged throughout the modules! These modules are designed to give you a starting point so you can more efficiently use your time with Eric, who will give you more personalized feedback and guidance. Suggestions for when to best meet with Eric are spread throughout the modules.
