Eric Shoemaker, BS, CPO

O&P Clinical Coordinator

Eric joined the University of Rochester Medical Center in 1999. Prior to joining us he worked for five years as an O and P Technician and Clinical Assistant-Fitter.

In 1999 Eric earned a BS in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Then, he completed both NCOPE-accredited residencies in Orthotics (2000) and Prosthetics (2001) at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Eric has successfully completed the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC) board examinations, earning the title Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist.

Eric specializes in lower extremity prosthetics and pediatric orthotics. His special interests include cranial molding helmets for plagiocephaly and scoliosis management.
