Mary Kate Gedro, BA, CO
Staff Orthotist
Mary Kate has been with the University of Rochester Medical Center since 1997, serving as O&P Clinical Coordinator from 2000-2007.
Mary Kate earned a BA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1989. She received her post-graduate certificate in Orthotics from the Newington Certificate Program in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1996. Then, Mary Kate completed an NCOPE-accredited residency in Orthotics at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Mary Kate masterd the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC) board examinations, earning her the title Certified Orthotist.
Mary Kate is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and the Association of Children’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinics.
Mary Kate specializes in pediatric orthotic management, cranial molding helmet therapy, contracture management and scoliosis management.
