The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides a full range of ambulatory and inpatient diagnostic and consultative cardiac services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults with congenital and acquired cardiac problems, including long-term care and preventive cardiology services. Specialized services for the following subgroups of patients exist: adults with congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, fetal cardiology, cardiovascular genetics, hypertension, lipid, and dysrhythmias.
Golisano Childrenâ€™s Hospital is the Western New York regional referral center for cardiac surgery. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology works closely with the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Division, providing team-based management of postoperative patients. Our surgical results are among the best in the nation.
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is committed to teaching medical students and residents, including offering a strong ACGME accredited Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship program.
Clinical research activities include such areas as clinical outcomes and preventive cardiology.
