Tyler was born and raised in Colorado in Castle Rock, CO. He attended Univeristy of Colorado Boulder for his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology and Psychology (Neuroscience Track). He received his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine for my MD. He then completed a combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the Unversity of Rochester. He is currently in a combined adult and pediatric infectious disease fellowship at the University of Rochester. His areas of interest lie in vaccines and vaccine hesitancy. Outside of medicine he enjoys trivia, fantasy novels, and board games.
