Zachary HoyThird Year Fellow

Zachary Hoy, M.D.

Zachary received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky and completed his residency at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) in California. He is currently researching host immune response and lung injury in Pneumocystis in the lab of Terry Wright, Ph.D., and Frank Gigliotti, M.D.

Brenda TesiniThird Year Fellow

Brenda Tesini, M.D.

Brenda received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami in Florida and completed her residency in Internal Medicine – Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her scholarly work focuses on A12 induced immunity to Pneumocystis, and her mentors are Terry Wright, Ph.D., and Frank Gigliotti, M.D.

Katherine Ebsworth-Mojica, MDSecond Year Fellow

Katherine Ebsworth-Mojica, M.D.

Dr. Ebsworth-Mojica received her Doctor of Medicine degree at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed her residency at University Pediatric Hospital at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. She is a National Health Corps Scholar, and spent two years working in a clinic for COSSMA in the town of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Dr. Ebsworth-Mojica’s research interests include the immunocompromised host, immunology, and host responses.She is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
