Jessica Arguello, I.B.C.L.C.

My journey into the lactation field started when I had my first child.  My whole life changed with becoming a mother and it's the one thing I enjoy most in my life.  I knew I wanted to find a career that supported parents and child development.  I remember setting up a meeting with Dr. Rosen-Carole as a starting point for guidance to which she was extremely helpful providing me with many resources to get started.  One year after this meeting, I reached back out to her and said "I did everything you told me to do" and now ready to start building clinical hours.  This email is what landing me a job at the lactation clinic as a CLC/Tech.  The rest is history...I finished up all the requirements to sit for the IBCLC exam and became certified.  I truly believe I'm learning from the best and feel lucky to have been giving the opportunity to grow with this dedicated department.
