Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Telethon Children and families touched by Golisano Children’s Hospital will join together for a "Day of Miracles" Telethon April 15. The annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) event, presented by Tops Friendly Markets and hosted by News10NBC, shares stories of hope and healing and serves as an introduction to our Miracle Kids each year. The program, co-hosted by News10NBC anchors Lia Lando and Scott Kilbury, will run during the network's newscasts and talk shows from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Tune in for a special 30 minute program at 7 p.m. In addition to our 2015 Miracle Kids courageous stories, the "Day of Miracles" will also recognize other supportive and grateful patient families. Stay tuned to find out more about our five Golisano Children's Hospital Miracle Kids for 2015! With money raised from the numerous fundraising events, and generous donations and pledges from the community, last year's Telethon raised more than $4 million. 2014 Miracle Kid Katie Foster and her cousin (and best friend who also battled cancer) Mareesa Boyatzies helped keep the calls coming in by emceeing the incentives portion of the telecast, asking people to make a pledge that would allow a patient to receive a flower arrangement from our friends at Wisteria Flowers and Gifts. Check out some of our behind-the-scenes photos in our 2014 Telethon Facebook album. If you didn't have a chance to tune in to the event last year and hear our 2014 Miracle Kids' incredible stories, please take a look: Meet Andrew Lagares Meet Katie Foster Meet Blake Gauss Meet Brynn Taylor Meet Chase Ayles To find out about the many community fundraising events that take place throughout the year, visit our calendar.
