Cares for Kids Radiothon
A big thank you to everyone who donated and to all of our volunteers for making this year's Radiothon a huge success. We raised over $250,000 which will help us purchase some pretty cool things for kids, including video goggles for children who need MRIs, mamaRoo seats for babies in our NICU, and kiddie cabs, which can transport patients all over our hospital!
The annual Cares for Kids Radiothon was held on February 14th and 15th.
Our friends from Mix 100.5 – Julie Dunn, JP Hastings, Pete Kennedy, and Scott Brooks along with WHAM 1180’s Bob Lonsberry, Deana King, Bill Moran and Paul Guglielmo were broadcasting live from the main lobby of Strong Memorial Hospital. Joining on us Friday was Children’s Hospital board member and 13WHAM TV morning anchor, Jennifer Johnson who also helped raise funds to support this very important community resource.
