Welcome to the Clinical Research Center (CRC)

Dr. Moxley with research subjectWelcome to the University of Rochester's Clinical Research Center (CRC). We have temporarily relocated to the Sauders Research Building, suite 1.303, at 265 Crittenden Blvd, Rochester, NY. Since 1960, our CRC has been funded to provide the necessary infrastructure for investigators to conduct research studies. Led by the Program Director Christopher Palma, M.D., Sc.M., and CTSA Principal Investigators Karen M. Wilson, M.D., M.P.H., and Martin S. Zand, M.D., Ph.D., the CRC facilities provide the environment and resources for medical research.

The CRC’s resources include highly trained research personnel in Nursing and Nutrition Research. The CRC team helps investigators facilitate the day-to-day research process and assists the research subjects in a supportive and efficient environment.

Standard Hours of Operation

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – Closed

The CRC is open continuously if there are inpatients scheduled. Please check with the nursing staff if these hours do not meet your needs. Staff may be provided at other times.

The CRC is available for faculty investigators, their staff, and medical students working in the URMC setting. In addition, drug company-sponsored clinical trials can be conducted on this unit. Research techniques and experiences, collaboration between investigators, individual growth for investigators and research, and patient care and safety will all be enriched by utilizing the CRC.
