Saturday, April 4. Kiwanis Clubs’ Quarter Mile of Quarters just got longer

For the past three years, the Finger Lakes division of the Kiwanis Club has held a fundraising event at Eastview Mall with the goal of collecting 4,000 quarters for Golisano Children’s Hospital; enough quarters to make up a quarter of a mile. This great fundraiser collects the smallest of donations for one big cause: to help support the care of our region’s children. The event has raised more than $12,000 for the hospital over the years.

This year, the Genesee Kiwanis Club is joining in on the fun. The club will set up base at Marketplace Mall. Both clubs will be at the malls between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. For more information on the Finger Lakes club’s event, call John Hanratty at (585) 671-4314 or stop by their post in front of JC Penney’s at Eastview Mall. To find out more about the Genesee club’s event, call Joann Underwood at (585) 342-7657 or visit them at Marketplace Mall.
