Dr. Chochlidakis Named Program Director, Prosthodontics
Dr. Konstantinos Chochlidakis (Prostho ’13) has been named Program Director of the Prosthodontic Program, effective Feb. 1. Since he re-joined Eastman in 2015 as Assistant Professor and Clinic Director of the Department, he has demonstrated his leadership, commitment and dedication to ensuring a successful program.
Dr. Chochlidakis has 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and was recently awarded the Glen P. McGivney Scientific Writing Award for Systematic Review. He is the scientific chair of the American Prosthodontic Society 2021 annual meeting and a vice-chair of the American College of Prosthodontists 2019 annual meeting.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists and holds memberships in several dental organizations including the American College of Prosthodontists, American Prosthodontic Society and International Team of Implantology. After earning his dental degree from the University of Athens, he joined the Greek Army as a soldier dentist for one year. He then moved to the United Kingdom and worked as a general dentist, serving in the National Health Service and private practice. After completing the Eastman program in 2013, he joined Temple University for two years as a full-time Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics in the Restorative Department, Kornberg School of Dentistry.
