Gear Up to Dress Down on Miracle Jeans Day

Jul. 14, 2010
Fundraiser will Benefit Kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital September 15

Every day, children from across the 17-county Finger Lakes Region come to Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center for help with everything from taking in those first breaths in life to receiving important diagnoses, managing chronic disorders and undergoing life-saving surgeries. Doctors, nurses and health care providers are constantly striving to help children in our community thrive.

Your chance to help kids receive the best care possible is right around the corner. On Wednesday, Sept. 15, businesses, schools and organizations are invited to host Miracle Jeans Day to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital. Last year’s first annual Miracle Jeans Day raised more than $12,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Participants can order buttons or certificates for $5 each, t-shirts for $15 each (available until Sunday Aug. 15) and/or lapel pins for $20 each. Groups are encouraged to designate a team captain to order merchandise and collect donations leading up to the event. Registration information, order forms and support materials are available at www.miraclejeansday.com.

Wear your statement of support with pride, along with a pair of jeans, on Wednesday, Sept. 15, and know that you’re making a difference in the lives of sick and injured children in your community. To sign up today or learn more about Miracle Jeans Day, visit www.miraclejeansday.com.
