Get Your Platform Shoes Out for Ugly Disco Bash April 4

Fans enjoy getting dressed up for a night of disco dancing.

The disco ball will be twirling as people celebrate the leisure suit, afro and platform shoes at the 2009 Ugly Disco Bash at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Riverside Convention Center. The event, organized by Ten Ugly Men, supports the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center and the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.

The Skycoasters and Nik Fever Wrath of Polyester will perform and a DJ will spin radio hits from the decade famous for ABBA, eight-tracks, lava lamps, streaking and Billy Beer. There will be special appearances by Rochester Village Guys and Brian Travolta.
