Skip Suiting Up on Miracle Jeans Day

On Wednesday, Sept. 14, helping sick children in the Finger Lakes area will be as simple as throwing on a pair of jeans. Businesses, schools and other organizations are invited to dress down instead of suiting up for Miracle Jeans Day, which benefits Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
“Miracle Jeans Day is such a simple way to donate to Golisano Children’s Hospital and help all the children who depend on the hospital for medical care,” said Betsy Findlay, director of Advancement for Golisano Children’s Hospital.
With a minimum donation of $5, participants will receive memorabilia showing they are wearing jeans to support their local children’s hospital. Groups can designate a team captain to order merchandise and collect donations before the event. Please get orders in by Thursday, Sept. 1, to avoid shipping charges. Registration information and support materials are available on www.miraclejeansday.com. All orders must be placed before Monday, Sept. 12.
Miracle Jeans Day is an event hosted by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which helps raise funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the country, including Golisano Children’s Hospital.
