URMC Opening Center for Experiential Learning
Rapid-fire innovation and dramatic health care reform are redefining what doctors and nurses do each day. To keep pace, the University of Rochester is changing the way it prepares our next generation of health care providers. The changes include a multi-million dollar renovation of educational space in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, 601 Elmwood Avenue.
To celebrate the completion of the first phase of construction, the school is inviting the public to explore its new Center for Experiential Learning during an Open House on Wednesday, November 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors will find out what it is like to attend medical school in the 21st century:
