Vascular Surgery, Vein Center Relocate to Larger Offices

Jan. 31, 2017

UR Medicine’s Vascular Surgery and Vein Center teams are opening new, larger and more convenient offices at 140 Canal View Blvd., off Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road., on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

The new offices are in the same building with UR Medicine Heart & Vascular’s Rochester CardioPulmonary Group, a large team of cardiologists who collaborate with the Vascular Surgery team to provide comprehensive care.  This model creates the premier outpatient cardiovascular care location in Upstate New York.

“Our programs are growing as we continue to expand our team and breadth of expertise. This new space is easily accessible and comfortable for our patients and caregivers,” said Michael Stoner, M.D., chief of Vascular Surgery.

The 11,700-square-foot suite includes 12 exam rooms, a treatment room and expanded imaging technology.

The Vascular Surgery team provides comprehensive care for people with all stages and types of peripheral circulatory disease. The team specializes in open, hybrid, and minimally invasive endovascular procedures to diagnose and treat aneurysms, blocked arteries, blood clots, varicose veins, as well as compromised blood flow to the brain, intestines, and kidneys.
