Project Phases

  • Phase 1: Utilizing interview and survey tools, identify provider- and practice-level barriers and facilitators to implementing standing orders at participating practices for adolescent HPV vaccination.
  • Phase 2: After randomizing participating sites, assess the effectiveness of a practice-based intervention combining the implementation of SOs and communication training compared to communication training alone with the goal of increasing HPV vaccination rates at participating practice sites. Measure costs and cost-effectiveness of the intervention.
