The Preventive Care Program for Urban Children with Asthma is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for trainees at all levels.  We provide hands-on research experiences for undergraduate students, medical and graduate students, academic fellows, and junior faculty members.  Our training focuses on basic skills for community-based research and implementation, research methodology and analysis, publication and presentation skills, and hands-on research activities in the community.  Many of our trainees have continued in research-related fields, with a particular focus on improving care for underserved children in the community.
