Didactic

• The didactic portion of the NICU APP Fellowship program has been designed to complement the clinical experiences which compose this one-year program.
• The first week of the program will include neonatal unit-based education and presentations from various Neonatologists and Advanced Practice Providers.
• The focus of this fellowship includes protected time for educational growth which includes:
  • Educational conferences that are held weekly by the NICU department,
  • Monthly lectures by APP Fellowship Director
  • Simulation-based training
  • The APP fellow will also participate in case presentations, journal club reviews and literature reviews throughout the academic year.
