How to Apply

Virtual Interviews - We recognize this is an important time in your training to grow personally and professionally, to expand skills and develop your career. We are committed to helping you navigate your application process. We continue to follow the recommendation from the Coalition of Physician Accountability (membership includes ACGME, ACCME, AACOM, ABMS, AOA, AMA etc.) to hold only virtual interviews this season for positions starting in the 2022-2023 academic year. Our faculty and administrative teams are available and will ensure that information is relayed to you in a manner that allows you to make an informed and thoughtful decision. We welcome your application and look forward to meeting you virtually!


Candidates must have satisfactorily completed an ACGME accredited residency in general pediatrics or internal medicine/pediatrics prior to entering the fellowship. Applicants pursuing other training pathways approved by the American Board of Pediatrics are also welcome to apply.

Our fellowship program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Application Submission

We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis and encourage applicants to apply before July 21, 2021. For those with a complete application, communication regarding interviews will occur on or after Wednesday, July 21, 2021 (not before) on a rolling basis.

  • PHM Fellowship Shared Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal statement telling us about your yourself, your interest in pediatric hospital medicine, long term plans, and specific fellowship training goals.
  • Three letters of recommendation. If you are a current resident, one of the letters must be from your current Program Director.
  • Medical school transcript
  • Board scores transcript (USMLE or COMLEX)
  • Photograph
