Clausen and Bradford Fellowships

The Center for Children’s Health Research is happy to announce that The Department of Pediatrics will award one Clausen and two Bradford Fellowships for the academic year 2026-2027. The Clausen and Bradford Fellowships will support postdoctoral training and research activities of pediatricians at the fellowship level, who are training to become teachers of pediatrics and may be awarded to outstanding candidates from within the University's Department of Pediatrics. Each Division Chief can nominate up to two fellows for the awards. Please propose a budget totaling $30,000 for which $20,000 must be applied to salary and fringe.
 
Applications should include: a 1-2 page letter of recommendation from the division chief, a research proposal & training plans for the candidate (3-page maximum), curriculum vitae for the candidate, budget proposal and justification. Please use “Arial” font size 11.
 
Fully supported fellows can be the recipient of either of these awards. The awards will be based on merit of the research, training plans and potential of the trainee, and not based on whether a division needs the money to support a trainee.
