Our programs offer personalized attention in an engaging, supportive learning environment. Faculty are dedicated to training and mentoring fellows to ensure the successful development of clinical, research, and teaching skills. The depth and quality of our subspecialty programs is exceptional. Consistently earning outstanding accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) reaffirms that we provide a superior education.
The Department of Pediatrics ranks top 20% in NIH funding, demonstrating significant research opportunities available to our fellows in bench, clinical, and translational research. In 2011-2012, 63% of our second and third year fellows presented their research at national meetings.
Opening in 2015, the new Golisano Children’s Hospital brings a new era for pediatric care. The hospital is steadily moving up the list of U.S. News & World Report's Best Children's Hospitals with gastroenterology, neonatology, orthopedics and neurology/neurosurgery ranking nationally.
