State-of-the-Art Dialysis for Small Infants—The Cardio-Renal Pediatric Dialysis Emergency Machine (CARPEDIEM™) is a new continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) designed specifically for small infants with acute kidney injury or kidney failure requiring dialysis. With 3 CARPEDIEM’s, Golisano Children’s Hospital is only the second hospital in the country to be trained and proficient in treating patients with the device.

Ambulances—Neonates and critically ill children from throughout the region are now transported to Rochester in state-of-the-art ambulances designed just for their needs; providing faster transport with the aid of high-tech equipment geared for the smallest patients.

We're Here to Transform Lives

Marquan Henderson was diagnosed with post-COVID Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C), was intubated and placed on life support. After a miraculous recovery, he told his doctors to use everything they learned from him to help care for other children. He said, “God made it so that I had to go through this to be able to help other families.”
