Services

Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine offers many services to help you throughout your breastfeeding journey.

Inpatient Support

We offer lactation and breastfeeding support for mothers/parents in our emergency rooms, in the NICU, and across our hospital units. We have a team of highly trained board-certified lactation consultants and certified lactation counselors in Pediatrics and Obstetrics, with consultation from the Lactation Study Center. Review the Your Inpatient Breastfeeding Medicine Consult handout for more details.

If you are breastfeeding/lactating and require an inpatient or ER consult, please ask your nurse to page "Lactation." We are available daily from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., 365 days per year.
