Our pediatric cardiologists provide diagnosis and treatment options for children with heart rhythm abnormalities (arrhythmias) and a history of unexplained fainting (syncope) or palpitations.
Diagnostic evaluation may include:
- ECG or EKG
- 24-hour electrocardiographic monitoring
- Use of a cardiac event monitor
Some patients may undergo:
- Electrophysiology studies to study heart rhythm abnormalities
- Radiofrequency ablation to treat abnormal tachycardia
- Pacemaker implantation
