Pediatric Pain Medicine Program
The Pediatric Pain Service is an interdisciplinary pain consultation service that provides comprehensive evaluation and management of pediatric patients at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The Pediatric Pain Service works collaboratively with other services, such as Behavioral Health, Child Life, Music Therapy, Rehabilitation Services (Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy), and Supportive Care Team to incorporate age and developmentally appropriate non-pharmacologic, pharmacologic, and interventional methods for the management of children’s pain.
We also collaborate with the Perioperative Surgical Home for pre-surgical pain management planning for high-risk and complex patients.
