Zachary Hansen will graduate from the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program in 2023.
Q. Where are you from?
A. I grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho
Q. What age did you know you wanted to be a dentist?
A. I was in my early 20s; I started shadowing dentists during college.
Q. What you love about Rochester area?
A. I like the beautiful trees. I come from a place with far fewer.
Q. Favorite thing about EIOH?
A. I have great faculty, coresidents, and staff! I like being a part of the pediatric dental team.
Q. You’re having a bad day – what do you do to feel better?
A. I go home and dance in the living room.
Q. Hobbies or talents?
A. I like try and keep my plants alive.
Q. Why do you want to be a pediatric dentist?
A. I want to be a pediatric dentist because I prefer working on baby teeth (for several reasons)!
Q. Why did you pick EIOH?
A. I found the team-oriented and supportive atmosphere very attractive.
Q. Best part of program so far?
A. Honestly my favorite day was my very first day. We had a very unconventional and fun orientation!
Q. Favorite place in Rochester?
A. I love Hedonist Ice Cream (strawberry)!
