The Child Health Equity and Decision-making Research (CHEDR) Team
About Us
The Child Health Equity and Decision-making Research (CHEDR) Team is interested in developing, testing, and implementing interventions to address health and health care disparities. To do so, we use methods of decision science, community based participatory research principles and population data to identify and mechanistically understand disparities. Current projects use mixed methods, multi-level modeling, small area variation analysis, causal inference, decision analysis, and machine learning. Applied topics include young infants with fever and pediatric sepsis.
