I am an Associate Professor in the Public Health Sciences Department and the Associate Director of the Center for Community Health & Prevention, leading the Community Health Education and Policy service areas. My interests center on the intersection of health care delivery and non-medical drivers of health to create systems change for population health improvement, particularly for vulnerable groups.

I lead the Community Health Needs Assessment and Improvement Planning and implementation process for Monroe County. I am the faculty consultant for the Hospital Association of New York (HANY’s) Care Connections program and I chair HANYS’ Community Health Task Force. I also currently serve as the President of the Board of Health for Monroe County.
