Dr. Kadura grew up in Canastota, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree at Syracuse University and her medical degree at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. She was an internal medicine resident here at URMC. She then practiced hospital medicine for nearly a decade, where she enjoyed quality improvement work and teaching medical students and residents. During that time, she also obtained an MBA through the University of Rochester's Simon Business School.

Wanting to be more involved in her patients' overall health and well-being, Dr. Kadura decided to pursue sleep medicine training. As faculty at the sleep disorders center, she evaluates and treats patients with various sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders. She continues to see inpatients at Highland Hospital.

In addition to her clinical work, she is a member of the URMC Clinical Informatics team, serving as a Director of Informatics.
